News release from Arikinui Ripekatangi

Official news releases from the leader of the Wakaminenga Maori Government.

Nga mihi Kirihimete me Te Tau Hou Hari, Christmas Greetings and Happy New Year

2025 was a challenging year with soaring costs and increasing threats to freedoms through digital IDs and centralized systems. Despite this, Wakaminenga Maori Government has advanced the **He Wakaputanga** sovereign governance system, establishing regional hapu governance through Minenga and preparing the Wakaminenga National Congress to be fully operational in the new year. Both Northern and Southern Tribes have issued **Sovereign Proclamations**, including the WMG Constitutional Proclamation, to protect our jurisdiction from outside interference.

Progress has been made across multiple sectors: free and fair trade (**Tikanga Trade**), banking (**Bank of Nu Tireni**), private land protection, restorative justice courts (**Te Kooti Wakanga nui Hou Hunga Rongo** and **Supreme Court of Restorative Justice**), education, health, housing, organic food systems, bans on GMOs and mRNA medications, cross-border ID cards, and international collaboration under the **United Indigenous Nations (UIN)**, including the “12 Levels of Society” framework. Funding remains a challenge, with a new member campaign “It Will Only Take $3” planned.

Other highlights include the **Northern and Southern Proclamations**, stage 2 of COVID-19 accountability, and Dr Heidi Ward McGrath’s success representing WMG at the **World CrossFit Championships** in Las Vegas and the **Australian and New Zealand Masters Games** in Brisbane. WMG wishes all members a joyful Christmas and a prosperous new year.

Wakaminenga National Congress 2024 Report

The Wakaminenga National Congress held on July 13-14, 2024, at Takapoto Estate, Karapiro included delegates from across New Zealand and a special guest from Germany representing indigenous European tribes. The congress emphasized reforming and reactivating the historical Wakaminenga Maori Government, originally established in 1835, to protect New Zealand’s sovereignty from globalist threats. Key presentations covered action plans for revitalizing He Wakaputanga’s governance, New Zealand’s heritage, indigenous rights, health sovereignty through Tiaki Hauora, and establishing a new alternative trading economy. The event stressed the importance of community responsibility, legal recourse, and tikanga principles in maintaining a fair and self-sufficient society.

Fund Raising Call to Action

The Wakaminenga Maori Government respectfully seeks weekly $10 donations from each member to sustain its operating costs. Despite efforts to secure external funding, personal sacrifices by officials highlight the urgent need for support. Donations can be made directly to their bank account or online via their website.
