Please be advised that the Wakaminenga National Congress that was scheduled for 26, 27 July, 2025 in Hastings has now been rescheduled for 23, 24, August, 2025 due to more time being needed to organise for this important and significant event.
Congress will address the need to transform our economic, social and governance settings in Nu Tireni, New Zealand through a program of peaceful transformation, available under our founding constitution of He Wakaputanga 1835, Declaration. of Independence. Divine law, Tikanga and He Wakaputanga informs our jurisdictional framework.

Rangatira, Community Leaders, Business Owners
If you are a leader of a regional minenga or a rangatira or leader that upholds the constitution of He Wakaputanga or you are a business owner that is interested in the benefits of He Wakaputanga we invite you to attend the upcoming Congress hui. A number of established economic projects for transformation will receive significant attention on the program. Registration and Congress program details will be emailed to prospective and confirmed attendees shortly incuding confirmation of the Wakaminenga National Congress venue in Hastings. An updated program will also be available through Te Purongo newsletter.
